Tag Heuer Watches, one of the top luxury watch brands, has been available in India at Johnson Watch Co., New Delhi. Luxury sports watches by TAG Heuer track time and performance. Offering both style and strength, their timepieces are versatile, timeless, and practical. Wear yours to the gym, the board meeting, hiking through a remote jungle, or speeding to victory down the race track. For more than 150 years, TAG Heuer has faced down every challenge, and then pushed past it. By defying the time-honoured conventions of Swiss watchmaking, it has led it to ever higher levels of precision and performance. It makes its own rules, chooses its own path, never quits moving forward, never compromises, never cracks under pressure. For its 150th anniversary, TAG Heuer brought to commercial reality its boldest breakthrough innovation since the 1/100th of a second mechanical chronograph. Double-patented Monaco V4, 100% TAG Heuer-made, outdoes its own legacy. A bold technical masterwork unlike any watch ever seen or imagined, it both exemplifies luxury Swiss watchmaking tradition at its finest, and completely turns that heritage upside down and inside out. Unveiled in 2013, TAG Heuer Carrera MikroPendulumS is a TAG Heuer Carrera MikrotourbillonS with 2 magnetic Pendulums replacing the hairsprings, one for telling time and one for timekeeping. Composed of 454 working components and based on unique TAG Heuer-patented technology, its watch chain turns at 12Hz and its chronograph chain turns at 50Hz (60 minutes power reserve). The chronograph tourbillon, the world’s fastest, controls the 1/100th of a second, beats 360,000 an hour and rotates 12 times a minute. The case design, with its stopwatch-like placement of the crown at 12 o’clock, is based on the 2012 Aiguille d’Or winner, the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrogirder, and the Carrera 50 Year Anniversary Jack Heuer edition. The two tourbillon Pendulums and their solid rose gold bridges (18K 5N) are visible through the fine-brushed anthracite dial.Since 2015 TAG Heuer is pushing the Swiss avant-garde limits even further with the TAG Heuer Connected. Tradition meets innovation, craftsmanship meets savoir-faire, and bold style meets breakthrough technology. The revolution is only a matter of time.

1) What is a Bezel?
A bezel is part of the case, attached on top of the middle case, which generally holds the crystal. The name is often used to describe a turning ring on the case that is marked with a scale intended for various functions: it makes it possible to preselect the time or the display of other time zones, etc.
2) What is an electro-mechanical movement?
An electro-mechanical movement combines the complexity of a mechanical movement with the precision of a quartz movement. Consisting of no fewer than 250 components, it receives its power from a battery.
3) How to take care of watch when you are not wearing it?
Please avoid changing the date between 8pm and 4am. The date-change mechanism is already engaged and a manual intervention could damage the movement.
4) How often should I wind my Tag Heuer Timepiece?
Non-automatic mechanical watch: This type of movement has to be wound every day. Winding is complete when you feel the crown resist. Avoid over winding – you’ll damage the watch mechanism.Automatic watch: As it is the action of the wearer’s wrist that wind the movement and maintain maximum power, the power reserve will begin to drain if there is not enough movement, causing the watch to stop. You can wind it by turning the crown - unscrewed or in neutral position – clockwise 40 times (100 times for the V4). This will start the watch, giving it sufficient power reserve to function normally.
